BioTo make a long story short, I'm a translator by trade, a half-decent gardener and a part-time sf nerd. And although I recently graduated from the department of French Translation and got my MA degree, I'm still making a living as an English-Finnish technical translator.
I regret I don't have enough time to read all the books I would like to or watch all the movies or animes I would like to. Or give my responsibilitites as a board member of our local sf association the attention they would require. Updates will therefore be sporadical at best.
Other personnages making an appearance include my partner (I tend to refer to him as my bf in the blog, although using the term "boyfriend" feels just a tad funny to me, since we have been living together for years already...) and our two plump castrate tomcats, Loki and Leu.
Oh, and by the way, we're expecting. The estimated time of arrival of our firstborn is on Mother's Day (May 10 in Finland). I have a separate Finnish-language blog for pregnancy/baby stuff:![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
